How we earn money

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click through to a retailer — such as Amazon.ae, Noon, Sharaf DG, Carrefour UAE or Jumbo — and make a qualifying purchase, we may earn a small commission from that retailer's affiliate program. This costs you nothing extra; the price you pay is the same as if you'd gone to the retailer directly.

What this does not change

Our rankings are decided before any affiliate link is added to a page. Specifically:

• We do not accept payment from any brand to appear in, or rank higher in, a guide.
• We do not let commission rates influence which product is named "top pick."
• When a product performs poorly in testing, we say so — commission or not.
• We link to whichever retailer has the best verified price for a product, not whichever pays us the highest commission.

How we test

Every product in a ranked guide is purchased at full retail price. We do not accept free manufacturer review units for products that appear in a ranked comparison. Full detail is on our How We Test page.

Retailer programs

We currently participate in (or plan to participate in) affiliate programs including the Amazon.ae Associates program and affiliate networks that cover Noon, Sharaf DG, Carrefour UAE and other GCC retailers. As an Amazon Associate, Timeless Tales earns from qualifying purchases.
